The more we put ourselves out there and tell the truth, the more we piss people off. AND, the more people we help. This has been the BIGGEST lesson for me in the past couple of years. If we want to grow as people, and become more successful, we have to stand for something. And when we stand for something, some people are going to disagree. Theres no avoiding this, because no matter how good your intentions are, you cant please everyone. Not everyone is ready to hear what you have to say, not everyone is going to have the same belief as you, and not everyone is going to see the heart you are pouring into your work. But if we allow these people to stop us from sharing our message, then we lose the ability to help those who need our message the most. Whatever it is you believe, whatever you are doing to help others - keep on doing it, without allowing those who dont agree to keep you down. There are people who need to hear what yo have to say. Xo
