The mouse trap A Mice observed through the slit of a wall of a farmer and his wife open a package . So what is the food that package was hiding? wondered the mouse was shock to discover it was a mousetrap! therefore looking forward to the barn to proclaim the stern warning: There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house! The Chicken in the farm , scratched his back and raising his neck he replied: Mr. Mouse, I understand that this is a problem for you but it is of no consequence to me. It does not bother me. Mouse therefore turned to the pig and told him: There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house! The pig appeared friendly but answered: Im very sorry Mr. Mouse, but I can not do anything except to pray but be assured of my prayers. Mouse turned to the cow and gave him his cry of alarm: There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house! And cow answer: Well, Mr. Mouse, Im sorry for you but that does not make me a fold on my belly! Thus Mr. Mouse went back to his small hole , head down and rejected having to face alone the farmers mousetrap. In the night that followed, a strange noise was heard in the house, a noise that sounded like a mouse trap that had caught his prey. The farmers wife rushed to see what had been caught but in the darkness, she did not see the tail of a poisonous snake that was caught in the mouse trap. Distraught, the snake bit the farmers wife who was,urgengly taken to the hospital, but alas, she came home with a high fever. And everyone knows a high fever must be treatead with chicken soup so the farmer went out with his knives to take the main ingredient for soup. But the disease of the farmers wife worsened to the point that all the friends and neighbors came to ensure round to clock at his bedside. To feed them, the farmer had to slaughter the pig. But the farmers wife did not take better and eventually die. This is how many people came to his funeral and the farmer had to slaughter the cow to serve enough meat to all the crown. Mr. Mouse watched everything back and forth through the slot in the wall feeling great sadness. MORAL: So the next time you hear someones struggling with a problem that does not concern you, remember that when one of us is threatened, we are all in danger. We are all involved in this journey called life. Let us open our hear loved ones and make an effort to encourage each and everyones
