The movie Captain Phillips is based on a true story? What a colossal waist of resources. The whole thing could have been avoided with one competent sniper perched in a crows nest on the cargo ship. They wouldnt have even had to kill anybody. As soon as the Somali pirates knew that the cargo ship had range on them theres no way theyd be stupid enough to charge in a skiff. Are you seriously telling me cargo ships sail through international waters armed with flare guns and fire hoses. This is idiotic.
