The music is at: livemusicathensga/play_music-2/ Hey there, Thank you to everyone who helped to make the Athens Human Rights Festival fundraiser a success. We brought in a little over $300! Holly Belle & Friends and The Po Boys really killed it. Both shows are posted on my web site. Dont forget the AHRF Battle of the Bands will be held on April 19th at Nuci’s Space. We are starting something new at the festival and yall are the first to know about it. We have expanded our site to E. Washington St and will host an Artist Festival where artists can set up booths and sell their artwork. A lot more on this coming soon. I have some wonderful news. Yall may know that I go to festivals at Suwanee Music Park in FL and I leave early to visit with my friend Lynn. She has been undergoing chemotherapy for cancer. We just found out that it was successful!!! The last PET scan showed no signs of the cancer. Thank you to everyone helping by sending positive healing thoughts her way. On the bad news side, my friend Judy was mauled recently by a pit bull dog. She was almost killed in the attack. GA being the enlightened state it is has no laws regarding these maulings. My friend Sherri Tanner has created a web page for donations to help pay Judys doctor and vet bills. Please go to gofundme/78l3oo to find out more about this and if you can please contribute. BTW it was one of my DUH moments when Sherri told me about the page. I should have thought of that myself. Im glad there are a lot of us looking out for each other.
