The mysteries of life never cause me worry. It is these things that we cannot control that add the silk road spice to what would be ordinary. I had no idea, for example, that I would be an opera singer. No one would have expected this. Its de facto now, but as an unfocused kid with no great aspirations to do anything but loaf around and play video games to now as a grown man who likes to loaf around and play video games WHO SINGS and spend most of his time dreaming up shows and learning music and aspires to be the best singer in the world, this journey has been very spicy. But it wouldnt have been anything if it werent for a great many people who just let me follow lifes course, who took the spice to heart. Ive been given advice to a degree or too about what I should do in my life, but never a direct reversal or a big change and for that I thank you. I would say the same for you. You all have such individual personalities and looks and styles and careers. I get to see you from time to time on the road and read messages from you and stories and see your pictures. You all are a great bunch of folks, you know. Commonality makes inroads into peoples minds. Liking the same thing. Even if its just one thing that leads you to a deeper relationship with any human being, that one thing can bring you greater understanding of another person. Folks need to forgo thinking that the differences between all of us drives us apart. The diversity in which we live on this tiny blue speck is breathtaking. Today, tomorrow and a week from now give someone you never would have thought to, a hug. NG
