The mystery of old doors. I started scraping this door and found that originally it had been stained like the window trim in our house. After the original stain it was painted an aqua green, then a beige color and the final layer was white. The shame is the wood was fairly beat up so with filling the cracks and gouges its back to being painted white. Oh and by the way I spent over 12 hours prepping that door, call me CRAZY.
