The nation has been taken for a ride in the name of so called democracy. This is sham democracy. In fact its civil dictatorship. In real democracy power is vested in the people and not in the hands of a few individuals and their cronies. The extent of loot and plunder that has taken place in the name of so called democracy is alarming. Here democracy is a ruse to gaining power through an intentional faulty electoral process. Democracy in Pakistan is confined only to the elections and not to governance, rule of law or social justice. Thats why its sham democracy. The term democracy is used by politicians to fool the people and that is exactly what every citizen has been seeing ever since the creation of this country.
