The new Hunger Games was really good. They get better and better as they go. I really kinda disliked the first one because it has been done so many times. It was called, The Running Man. It was called, The Condemned. It was called, Battle Royale. Its just been beaten to death as a concept. BUT, Catching Fire was great, and split apart and did its own thing. Mocking Jay 1 was another step in the right direction of a great movie set. But it sucks how there are all these movies out there doing this thing now, since Harry Potter did it. Split the last story into 2 movies. Harry Potter did it. Twilight did it. Now Hunger Games is doing it. Im sure Divergent will do it, and if Percy Jackson makes it that far, it will probably do it too. Oh, and in my not so humble opinion, Percy Jackson is WAAAAAAY cooler than Harry Potter. Aspiring Gods are cooler than Aspiring wizards. Plain and simple. Personally, I would have liked to see The Golden Compass series continue, but it wont. And, I cant be the only one who has noticed that the first Fast and Furious and Point Break are like, exactly the same movie. Point Break, synopsis: Undercover cop, Johnny Utah (Reeves) is on the case to infiltrate a group of surfers who disguise themselves as ex-Presidents to rob banks. In the process, he befriends Bodhi (Swayze), who is an expert surfer looking for the perfect wave. The plot thickens when Utah falls in love with Tyler, and is faced with having to choose between his life as a detective, and his life with his new group of surfer/bank robber friends. The Fast And The Furious, synopsis: Undercover cop, Brian OConnor (Walker) is on the case to infiltrate a group of street racers who work in disguise to rob banks. In the process, he befriends Dominic Toretto (Diesel), who is an expert racer looking for the perfect thrill. The plot thickens when OConnor falls in love with Mia, Torettos sister, and is faced with having to choose between his life as a detective, and his life with his new group of street racer/bank robber friends. Bubble Bursted. And by the way, Point Break is better. It has Swayze. Anything with Swayze is gonna have a one up on anything else. But yeah, see the new Hunger Games if you like that shit.
