The new carpet is beautiful, the plants are watered the cars mostly packed. Now for some sleep and then a thousand miles of open road and solitude, driving into the face of a three-quarter moon. At the end of that quest are a man, two women and a grandchild, all of whom I love. If you stop by my house while Im gone, mind the snake. She blends in nicely with the new carpet and might be a bit edgy, since I dont have time to feed her.
