The new municipal aggregation terms should arrive today in the mail watch for your letters with the Citys seal from the City’s selected electric aggregation supplier, Constellation. The letter will arrive in an envelope with both the Constellation and City of Loves Park official seal on the front. The letter provides information on the two-year agreement the City has negotiated on behalf of residents, including pricing, terms and conditions, and instructions on opting out of the program if desired. Residents and small business owners will automatically be switched to Constellation and will receive the aggregation rate unless proactively opting out. Again, to remind residents and businesses, Constellation will not be calling individual customers to collect personal information, nor will they solicit door-to-door. Any calls or solicitations claiming to be the City’s aggregation program are inaccurate and should be reported to the Illinois Commerce Commission, who licenses and regulates retail suppliers in the State.
