The new temperature sensor works as well as the old one in that it doesnt. The wiring looks fine and the gauge is plugged in. Its not losing coolant and it doesnt sound or smell like it runs hot. Still no fuel gauge either. It moves up to E when the key is on so its not the gauge. It must be the float that no longer is. It only used 3.5 gallons on its last 80 mile drive so a full tank should easily make the 150 mile trip to Barber tomorrow.
