The new upright pickup systems have turned out great. I will explain the differences, features, names and pricing. I will post more specs on our website soon. 1. ChannelBlaster II Stereo pickup system. Blender/Preamp and EQ controls integrated into our African Mahogany tailpiece. Powered by one 9volt battery that is tucked away into the back of the tailpiece. Easy access for quick battery changes although it doesnt take much power to operate. The system powers up when you plug a guitar cable into it. It comes with a bridge transducer and fingerboard transducer. Both have our new interchangeable cartridge system which allows you to unplug the pickup element and replace with cartridges tuned for different tones. The CBII comes standard with H.O. Rockabilly bridge cartridge and H.O. Slap fingerboard cartridge. This complete system retails for $496.00. 2. MonoBlaster Mono pickup system. Dip Switches(bottom left) control the freq range for KNOB 2, basically a parametric mid. The EQ controls on the MonoBlaster are: KNOB 1(top left) Treble control for bridge pickup, KNOB 2(top right) midrange level for bridge pickup, KNOB 3(bottom right) Bass level for bridge pickup. Dip Switches(bottom left) control the freq range for KNOB 2, basically a parametric mid. We will start shipping these by the end of the month. With the ICS cartridges it gives the bassist who has purchased our pickup system more options for their sound. They can continue to experiment and create their arsenal of upright bass tones. I plan on releasing quite a few different cartridges for the upright. Special editions and limited runs of certain types of elements and materials. No other upright bass pickup company offers this type of option. No other pickup company has integrated the electronics into a tailpiece either!
