The newly merged team between Bedfordshire Blue Raiders and Milton - TopicsExpress

The newly merged team between Bedfordshire Blue Raiders and Milton Keynes Pathfinders now officially have a name - the Ouse Valley Eagles. After discussions between the committee and with the BAFANL Leadership, the team decided on the Ouse Valley name, with the team mascot being the Eagle. Eagles Chairman, Neale McMaster is thrilled with the new name and logo, saying: The launch of the OV Eagles branding is a big moment for us as a club, and Im delighted to be able to release it this evening. This represents several weeks of hard work behind the scenes, to develop not just a logo, but a new font, and a brand overall. This will filter out over our merchandise and website in the coming weeks, and can already be seen on our Twitter (@ovfootball) and Facebook pages. How we look on and off the field is vitally important to us as a club. We really like what the University of Oregon do with their colours, and we want to provide a similar, scaled down, opportunity to our players. This represents a very strong message to our players and to our fans; were different to all the other teams in the league. Our helmets are different, the way we do things is different, and our results will be different too. The club would like to recognise the efforts of Tony Law and David Keay for delivering this new brand. A huge thanks to both. The Eagles start training at Bedford International Athletic Stadium next Sunday, 17th November. Details of our Rookie days will be released shortly, but in the meantime for all the latest information visit facebook/oveagles.
