The next NPLQ course will run from Sunday 18th August - Saturday 24th August. Cost: £230 includes Lifeguard manual which has all the information you need to become a competent Lifeguard. The cost also includes the assessment fee but does not include any reassessments that may be necessary should any candidate refer a section of the assessment. Candidates must be able to; Jump and dive in to deep water Swim 100m on front followed by 100m on back Swim 50m in 60 seconds Dive to the deepest part of the pool (3m) to retrieve a submersible manikin Tread water for 1 minute Climb out of the pool unaided without using the steps or ladder All of these pre requisites should be able to be performed in shorts and t shirt.
