The next time your coach or trainer tells you to do something, ask - TopicsExpress

The next time your coach or trainer tells you to do something, ask yourself, could they actually do what theyre telling me to?. Obviously different people have different goals and you cant be the best at everything. However, every coach should have an idea of what theyre putting their athletes or clients through. Sitting on a silly machine for 3 sets of 10 for 10-weeks straight probably isnt in the coaches personal program. Mindless circuits just to get a client tired- probably not in the cards for them either. Many coaches get all rah rah and rant about practicing what they preach, yet train their clients with a completely different philosophy- mainly because the cookie-cutter program is easier than actually knowing how to adapt, alter, and program a proper plan for each individual. These coaches sucks and are stealing time and money from their clients. The other day I received a tremendous compliment. A female pro lifter praised our PSTS coaches for walking the talk, through our own physical performance and how we carried ourselves. This is because we all train with the same concepts and philosophy we use with our athletes- which earns tons of trust and respect from them. Always question until you develop trust. Then make sure that trust is valued every single day. If youre putting in the work you owe it to yourself to maximize your time, money, and experience.
