The night of, 23-24 December, I managed to see the comet C / 2014 Q2 (Lovejoy) naked eye from my area, northeast of the Iberian Peninsula (Spain). The comet had a similar brightness of star HIP 28756 of 5.6 magnitude. I dont know estimate visual magnitudes of comets, and nor had primaticos (had telescope but was making photographs) so its brightness should be around magnitude 5.5. The comet was low and affected by light pollution Valencia, but the sky quality was very good, although these factors, I have gotten to see him without any kind of instrumental Also attached some pictures of the comet C / 2014 Q2 Lovejoy. The first is on the night of 20 to Dec. 21, presents two types of ion tail a broad fan-shaped (could be confused with the dust tail) and a second, much longer that exceeds the telescope field. The second is on the night of 23 to 24 with the same instrumentation as above, the comet is bigger than a couple of days. The third and fourth are also conducted night from 23 to 24 December but with a much shorter focal, 100 mm, a disconnection or loop shown in the ion tail of over 6, probably because of a CME.
