*The non-profit animal rescue, advocacy, and education organization Free from Harm, who has written numerous articles about Wagner Farm animal welfare issues, includes Wagner Farm in their best case scenario segment of their nationally presented series Food, Animals, & Popular Culture freefromharm.org/tag/wagner-farm/ In these posts are just some of the many lamb and pig victims over the past five 4H project seasons of the taxpayer purchased and funded Wagner Farm and their chosen Glenview Clovers 4H discompassionate programming outcomes, shortly before they were taken to the Lake County (IL) Fair and sold to auction for slaughter. Wagner Farm and their Glenview Clovers 4H have sent 100+ animals to auction for slaughter since 2010 from this taxpayer funded facility, with ongoing systematic rejection of collaborative efforts with those they deem unsuitable to work with for any reason as part of their camp - notably the non-profit Wagner Farm Rescue Fund who has made numerous overtures to Wagner Farm and the Glenview Park District for collaborative efforts - including offers of above market value payment for release of these animals to sanctuary outcomes - which are being repeatedly rejected.
