So drink up, tell your friends you love them, tell your crushes you love them, tell your partners you love them, and let the weight of all the anger and resentment that you perhaps rightly have towards certain people or the world in general rise off your shoulders. All those people you hate and love, and you, are going to die. So dont hold back. But, if as it thus far always has, despite its terrible capacity for evil and tragedy, if humanity stumbles and grabs and stays its course (whatever that may be), avoiding complete implosion, and the sun rises on Monday and you are still alive... I will probably not reply to your messages and general cries of anger about having written off your car or having got a chick knocked up or having told your boss hes a prick, resulting in you living beneath a bridge. Even if it says Im online on Whatsapp and Ive just made (yet) another Facebook status. Impending global collapse or not, its always important to YOLO. But only to a certain extent. x
