The old woman has been back this last week with a vengeance .first of all went back to make the appointment about the gnashers and was told that it would cost £100, no way as I paid over £1000 last year and this appointment was to remedy a fault. So out I walked saying no. On the way home there was I on my trusty steed making my way up Queen St. When at the narrow part this rather large car decided to overtake me, in doing so he had to go onto the path on the opposite side of the road where a young lad was standing on that path with his bike. He then pulled in and parked his car outside his house. All this taking placed in a 25 yard section of the road. I was furious so waited until he wound his window down and proceeded to read him his rights. Apparently it was my fault as I was riding my bike in the middle of the road, the fact that there were cars parked on the left side made no difference. It all ended with this poor old lady telling him to sod off, getting back on the bike and pedalling off with dignity as the mothers who had just picked up their children from school were looking on. Next paragraph, answered the phone and on the other end was a very foreign voice asking was that mrs Greeefath to which I replied I am so sorry but she has passed away, can I help. I have never heard a phone switched off so quick. Then a day later that phone call we are all getting about a free gas boiler. They tell you to press 2 if you are interested, so I did and got a live English voice which I proceeded to tell I was not interested in a gas boiler or a sunbeam catcher on my roof so please do not contact me again. This time I was the first to replace the phone. Let see if it works. So if you hear that Mrs Greeefath is no longer with us just remember that she is still about live and kicking with a vengeance. Pleasant thoughts and good wishes to you all, Mouthy Maggie.
