The only decent photo I got of the military honors at Dads service. These two gentlemen just refolded the flag, inspected and took turns saluting it. Prior to this they had stretched out the flag while we all stood in honor and another marine played Taps. Pretty sure it made us all cry - Dad was so proud to be a Marine! Just after this, the staff sergeant knelt in front of Mom and said on behalf of the President of the United States and the United States Marine Corps, we present this flag to you and thank you for your husbands service to his country. Then he handed Mom the flag, stood and removed his glove, shook her hand and expressed condolences. It was beautiful!
