The only thing I regret about going to college is taking out student loans with Sallie Mae... I wished Id know that if I died they would still make my cosigner (my mom) pay the balance. Even Wells Fargo forgives the student loan in that case. Sallie Maes website is down right horrible, misleading and difficult to pay bills on. To top it all off, they do not offer loan consolidation or allow for prolonging the loan repayment period to make monthly payments somewhat manageable. All these things are offered else were, but not Sallie Mae. Please educate your children on student loans!!! We say credit debt is bad but push for student loans. Its my own dam fault but please stay away from SM!
