The only thing that stands in the way of being a good or a bad liar is the conscience. The more someone can drown out the conscience the more convincing theyll be. Our level of conviction is always in direct relation to our condition in that way. The more alive our conscience is the more we find we have an inability to lie along with an inability to do a number of other things. Yet people with this trait are looked at as weak, or somehow less effective and labeled as naive. Why is this (when many would argue this a noble and good characteristic) viewed as a negative by so many?
