The only thought that should preoccupy the mind of any mortal at this critical time is the thought of eternity. The subject of eternity can never be overstressed. Where will you spend eternity? Do you know that if it were possible for a small boy to empty all the oceans and rivers in the world with a cup, the length of time that will take him to finish is a minute part of eternity. Or if a rope is stretched from earth to the moon and an ant is to go from the earth to the moon and do that a hundred tiimes, of course it is going to take it a pretty long time but that long time is a fraction of eternity. Another one still, if a grain of sand represents one day then all the sands in all the seashores will only represent a very small part of eternity. Eternity then extends forever and foever without end. And man or woman living here now when he or she dies will then be ushered into eternity either in a state of everlasting delight or in a state of e verlasting damnation. And how you live here now will determine where you will spend eternity. Eternity is of two phases, there is heaven and there is hell . If you must make it to heaven that entails serving God in holiness and true righteousness, it is not by going to church with the biggest bible or being a moralist or a philanthropist. You must have christ in you. In fact, genuine salvation is the only ticket that paves the way for anyone who is aspiring to get to heaven and spend eternity with God. Living under the control and dictatorship of the devill only leads to hell. Please you have to always ponder on the subject of eternity. We should always be shrouded in it, that I think will regulate our actions and deeds and most importantly will make us to at every time remember the ONE who created YOU and I.
