The only way I can think of de-politicizing Facebook is to - TopicsExpress

The only way I can think of de-politicizing Facebook is to unfollow those who make political posts. It doesnt mean I dont like you anymore. I already had a policy of unfollowing people who post animal abuse photos/videos and that has made this more pleasant to visit. If you want you can make a posting scope for the sorts of things that arent going to be inflammatory to anyone and include me on that to avoid the unfollow. But I suggest instead selecting a pseudonym and learning how to work political debate on a fairly broad-spectrum politics/news site where people can safely verbally pummel the living snot out of each other all day, rather than making your friends and family and colleagues endure your convulsions. Ive decided that is what I will do if I feel a need to indulge in that again, this is just not the right place for it. When some clearly deeply disturbed individual attempted to get my Facebook account suspended because they couldnt come up with any other response to a comment I made, that was the end for me. Had they prevailed (there was no way, I dont violate the ToS of the sites Im on) my business could have been damaged as some people reach me this way. I dont suggest toning down the rhetoric I suggest taking it elsewhere, where you can be as viciously hateful of the advantaged or disadvantaged demographics of your choice as you please, etc. Thank you for your friendship and friendship.
