The opera was fun last night. My first opera and it was in Italy! Walked 29,000 steps and 12.5 miles yesterday. Took a tour of underground Naples to see Greek and Roman ruins. Had to light our way at one point by carrying candles and squeezing sideways through this long tunnel for about 50 yards to get from one section to another. Very interesting. On the list today is hiking Mt Vesuvius (unless its erupting of course!) and exploring Pompeii. Overnight ferry to Palermo tonight.
