The operative premise of the authors article is that there is somebody on the other side of the table for the PM to negotiate with. This leads the author to his conclusion that the problem with the PM is that he is not committed to peace with his Arab neighbors. Of course with a faulty premise, it is no surprise that the conclusion is erroneous. Israel has been on a downhill slide ever since Oslo, which was also an error of epic proportions given that it was based on the belief that territorial concessions and economic development would solve things. Unfortunately, they wont. Israel should get off this doomed track as soon as possible. There are no Arabs in the region interested in maintaining peace with Jews in the Middle East except as dhimmis in an Arab dominated nation. The Israeli Solution offered by Caroline Glick in her book lays it all out. Those who ignore the truth of what she has to say will reap the consequences.
