Hinduism is a religion with diverse views on the concept of God. I - TopicsExpress

Hinduism is a religion with diverse views on the concept of God. I was raised as a monotheistic Hindu. I respect our religious holy books, heritage, rituals and saints BUT never stop criticizing any of the verses, rituals or customs that seem absurd to me. I try to study from the authentic sources - the Vedas, Bhagavad-Gita As It Is and so on. I have rejected the concept of hundreds of gods & goddesses long ago. Honestly I am proud to be a part of the monotheistic Hindu religion because it taught me to question everything and enlighten myself by reasoning things before accepting anything. According to the Bhagavad Gita there are no such thing as Hindus, Muslims, Christians, Jews, Buddhists or non-Hindus. We are all human beings. You can exercise freedom of speech. There are religious laws that state how to live your life to go to heaven but you will not be dictated according to the religious laws because at the end of the day - it is your KARMA (God is the only one who will judge you). If you are not afraid of after life then go ahead and enjoy your life. No one is authorized to point fingers to you unless you do harm to others. Long live peaceful ideologies, long live freedom of speech.... Lets sing together with John Lennon... Imagine theres no heaven Its easy if you try No hell below us Above us only sky Imagine all the people Living for today... Imagine theres no countries It isnt hard to do Nothing to kill or die for And no religion too Imagine all the people Living life in peace... You may say Im a dreamer But Im not the only one I hope someday youll join us And the world will be as one. https://youtube/watch?v=DVg2EJvvlF8
