Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it (Hebrews 13:2) I received a phone call today from my bank informing me that there were some charges made using my Debit Card and they needed to verify the charges; They suspected it was fraudulent and I should call the Fraud Dept. I made the call only to find out my Debit card had been compromised. I didnt panic because I trust my bank. I did, however, made a call to the company who charged my card, in order to find out who used my card. At first I got through with the call, but then I accidentally ended the call, I dialed the number again and this time I was much more careful not to end the call before the conversation was over. I recognized the accent of the person on the other end of the phone and I asked if she was from Asia and I named the country, she said, “yes” and would you know, I do ministry in her area. We got to talking and she proceeded to encourage me by saying God would take care of it, dont’ worry. I told her, I am not worried, I am a missionary and I trust God. She said, “I am crying now, because I wanted to be a missionary, but instead, I chose to get a job to help my sister finish college.” Long story short, I prayed for her, she cried, I listened and then it dawned on me, all of this was a set up for me to have a conversation with a young girl who needed encouragement in the area of her calling. She cried, I laughed with joy and God made the divine connection. Thank you Daddy. Ministry is wherever we are, whatever we do, and whatever we say to people. I am looking forward to meeting this young girl one day, when I take my next mission trip to Asia. Isn’t God awesome? God bless, Missionary Geeta
