The oppressed having suffered under a dictatorship or gone into exile, might view the foreign intervention as the only best option for the termination of the regime. Nonetheless, they, at the same time, should cogitate a few realities with regard to the reliance on foreign intervention. -Foreign states may be willing to sell out an oppressed people instead of keeping pledges to assist their liberation at the cost of another objective. -Some foreign states will act against a dictatorship only to gain their own economic, political, or military control over the country. In sum, the foreign states could get actively involved for positive purposes solely when the internal resistance movement has already begun, which shakes the dictatorship, thus having already focused international attention on the regimes brutal nature. It is so obvious that everyone should have already realized these facts.
