The oratory skills activity included lots of speaking activities . Students of Classes 3-5 were taught different kinds of tones like angry, sad, excited, happy, scared, emotionless, tired etc. Once they got the expression right they made sentences and presented the tone given to them . They started with sentences and slowly moved on to dialogues it was a thoroughly enjoyable activity. Apart from this they played lots of story building, word building games too.They did a show and tell every day . Some days they became teachers and talked about school on other days they became chefs and discussed recipes. On the whole a valuable learning experience. Students of classes 6-9 composed a poem on oratory skills and then learnt how to recite it . They then spoke about the importance of oratory skills in life and about the ongoing political debate and how it was actually the communication which helped in winning the mandate. This was followed by lots of round table discussions on simple topics like Spending committee , food, social networking and discipline. Students gained a lot from this activity
