The other day I was watching something and the word custodian was said, and it made me think of my familys beloved Pat that we lost a few years ago. When you say custodian, most people think of the people that clean up messes and throw out the garbage, so I looked up the definition of the word custodian, and it said one that guards and protects or maintains; especially: one entrusted with guarding and keeping property or records or with custody or guardianship, and I realized that this was Pat completely. And all of us are custodians in some capacity. as a parent or a friend, an employee or employer, as a sibling, an Aunt or an uncle....we are all custodians to each other, to protect and guard, and maintain the relationships and love between us. I miss Pat very much, and that loss has been weighing on my heart lately. He was a big turtle that loved us with every breath he took. Remember to be the best custodian you can be to each other. Maintain the relationships, and guard them like a soldier, someone feels you are up to the task!
