The other day someone asked me a very important question about this blog. She asked if all my posts were going to be about how judgmental Christians can be. The answer is a resounding no. Its true that many of my posts will contain critical observations of the Church, but my intention is to encourage Christians to better themselves. The major theme of this blog is the commandment we are issued by Christ in Mark 12:31: to love your neighbor as yourself. That being said, heres one of those non-critical posts. A good friend of mine recently said something profound. Part of being a Christian is transforming from conversion to discipleship. Most Christians have some idea of what that means. Conversion is the moment you decide to accept the grace of God and give your life to Christ in utter sacrifice. Discipleship is the continual process of living your life according to Gods will and growing in your faith.
