The other side of the coin with unwanted pregnancies being forced - TopicsExpress

The other side of the coin with unwanted pregnancies being forced to go forward is who pays and what kind of life do children born to women who are forced to have them lead? I certainly would not be a good mother and would not even try to be because I dont feel after all the hard work I put in to never becoming pregnant, the money spent on birth control that if somehow I am forced to give birth, well what am I talking about it wont happen. WHY? Because even with all the pro lifers out there, the employers who think their employees SHOULD become mothers, family members who feel children are more important than jobs, income or even a good marriage, I know how to use a knitting needle for more than making a booty and I am married to a man who like me, never wants to be a parent and is sick of working hard and having portions of HIS earnings taken from him and given to all the mistakes out there. Someone said maybe there should be a special island or town somewhere where people like us can live and have every penny we earn come right to us and STAY with us and be used as we see fit since we are the ones who sacrificed and sweat to earn those dollars. Our money comes to us and does not go to children we will never meet and their parents who can not figure out how to work to support them even though OUR parents worked full time to support us while we were growing up. Maybe we are sick of seeing American doctors volunteering free surgery and care to foreigners. Maybe we are sick of certain people in society getting free health care and have never worked a day in their life while Military Veterans needing the same surgery or care for them or their children are charged full price and go bankrupt! Maybe there should be a way for those of us who will never qualify for Welfare or any government aid because we live our lives in a responsible way, will never collect the over $100,000 we will have paid into Social security between us in our working lives, to stop supporting strangers and have our money in our own bank, in our own names where it will benefit US, the ones who earned it! The Amish get to do this legally. They never collect from the government and they take care of their own when they are in trouble. Because of their religious status they are not forced to pay the taxes to support anyone else and their earnings go to support themselves and their community AND ONLY THEIR OWN! I think there should be a way for every American to do this as well regardless of religion. I believe if we work for our money, it should be ours and ONLY OURS! People who are capable, yet refuse to work should never get anything given to them that my husband and I worked years to be able to afford and no way we should be forced to pay for any of these things. Having a child or many children should never be a get everything free card. If the free stuff stops, especially the extras like cell phones and internet and Cable TV and the houses at cheap or free rent in great neighborhoods, maybe the Welfare mommy abusers will learn that birth control can be had for free at Planned Parenthood and adoption is a gift that lasts a lifetime. Many people like us are getting sick of setting alarms and going to work every day while our neighbors sit home with their 4 kids from 4 different daddys and text on their nice cell phone, play games on their nice lap top and watch their nice flat screen TV with 400 channels on it. All of which they never paid one dime for. My question is this? For thousands of years women have gone through great pain to birth children. Some in fields and then as soon as the birth is over they went back to work as they could not afford to lose even one hour of pay. Many women today dont even take the full 6 weeks maternity leave they are entitled to because they can not afford to lose 40% of their paycheck. They believe in supporting their family with their earnings and hard work. Why do we all think it is OK for some women to birth babies and take 6 years or more of maternity leave getting free everything from our government, I.E. our tax dollars?????
