The outpouring of love and support that I have witnessed in the last few days from the Ball State community and Sarahs friends and family is overwhelming. Ive always known how special she is, and to see that such an amazing person has impacted so many lives is so inspiring. Seeing people that havent even directly met Sarah and are still offering prayers and support reminds me of how great people can be in times of need. While things like cancer dont make sense and can cause anger and fear among loved ones, it fills my heart with so much joy seeing a community of students and faculty come together to support Sarah and her family.
