The passage of just two laws would almost certainly pretty much - TopicsExpress

The passage of just two laws would almost certainly pretty much completely narrow the gap between the Top 1% and the Bottom 50%, at least over 20 years, and those would be: 1) The ONLY entities *any* corporation, LLC, etc. may give, issue or sell shares to are its current employees, proportionately to their salary and at the time of each paycheck. and 2) The ONLY entities *any* corporation, ,LLC, etc. may receive loans from are its past and present employees. To minimize abuse, there may have to be another law added: 3) All shares given to current employees have voting rights. Just think how that would change EVERYTHING! All of a sudden, Venture Capitalists will have to start funding those BILLiONS of IPO dollars, loans, etc. THROUGH the frickin secretaries and stuff, who could hopefully (collectively, via their new voting rights in the company) pass bylaws allowing every employee past / present to collect a certain percentage as a transaction fee. Dont tell me this wouldnt revolutionize the world! Go ahead, share it! We could replicate this EVERYWHERE and *erase* abject poverty *worldwide* in just a few years. This is why I know none of these billionaires have any VISION, or they would have already done it. Give me a billion dollars, and I will totally transform at least one African nation. Watch! This could probably be implemented at the state level, and I think even small states like Rhode Island would witness immediate large positive changes, inversely benefiting the lowest income people the most (assuming theyve had a job in the past). It also strikes me that this is the synthesis of both libertarian capitalism and the workers revolution of socialism, with less of the evils of both. Instead of robber barons (capitalism) or the state (communism) owning the voting rights and being the ultimate accumulators of capital and assets, it would be the employees who primarily would benefit. I like the name distributism. Because thats what it is, a distributed ownership of capital and control.
