The past 8 years have devastated any hope I once felt that the bad old days might be ending. In fact, its worse than ever. Let me ask you this, my fellow pink-complexioned humans, when will you actually do something about this? When will you make this kind of thing as high a priority in your purchasing, your politicians, your choice of residence as you do animal rights, organic foods and or net neutrality? Ever? MY grandfather was considered colored by the standards of his time, the rest of my family were called non-white. This had ended for them before I was born, but they made sure I knew about it. If youre a jew, italian, irish, greek, armenian, or any of numerous others, youre whiteness is a recent artifact of the New Deal/Civil Rights era, and could be taken away just as easily as the voting rights of people of color have been in the last few years. In short, brothers and sisters, WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM HAPPENS TO YOU!!!!!! This is EVERYONES cause. It is so fundamental, so basic. How can you ignore it?
