The path that is brightly lit, paved with gold, and has people cheering you to take is NOT always the path of GOD. There may be temporary gratification, temporal fortune and fame, and all those good things, but WHERE DOES IT LEAD??? The path of faith is never brightly lit, because we walk by faith and not by sight. It is never paved, because when you take the path, you leave a trail for others to follow. And its never very big, because the gate to reach eternal life is strait, as the way to it is narrow. Sometimes the reason we stay where we are is because were too scared to take that dark path. We ask GOD a lot of questions about this path, but He doesnt always reveal it, because He knew that if Joseph knew that the path to Josephs palace would take him from a pit, to a prison, BEFORE reaching the palace, Joseph would probably have rejected it. Likewise David, before he became king, would be loved, then hated, and hunted, before it all came to pass, may have chosen a different path. Even JESUS Himself took a path He really didnt want to take, but took it anyway. To take the path of faith is not comfortable nor convenient. It means taking a risk. It means there will be frustration, disappointment, and even tears shed. But will you weather those things to receive what GOD has for you, or will you still in your misery, wondering where it is? This is your challenge...
