The phrase God bless America has been quoted often for years by a diverse group of people ranging from disingenuous politicians to unbiblical pastors, the fact remains that God has blessed America but America, generally speaking, has not blessed God !!!! To ask our Great God to bless this nation in spite of rampant immorality and unheeded injustice is reckless, selfish and ignorant . To pray in this fashion is to follow the nonsensical example of politicians and modern church leaders who lack both the leading of the Holy Spirit and the guidance of the Word of God . Until the people of God, that live in this nation, begin to truly pray and confess our sins and stand in the proverbial gap for this nation the blessings we desire will simply be a thing of the past . We the true church made up of Born Again Christians are called to be salt and light and therefore we have a responsibility as Ambassadors for Christ to be Christ like in prayer, preaching, witnessing ,and living . Please join with me in prayer and ask God to forgive us ALL and thank him for his mercy and long suffering and help us to bless Him . America will once again be blessed if and when we learn how to bless his Name . The real blessings may not be financial rewards , national security or even religious freedom but rather peoples lives being changed , believers experiencing contentment and the church boldly and clearly preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ from the Holy Scriptures ! God help us and guide in these last days
