The plane was made by Boeing, a US company. So no one is allowed - TopicsExpress

The plane was made by Boeing, a US company. So no one is allowed to question its safety. On the second day of the incident, Bloomberg already had an interview with a former NTSB employee, not a Boeing engineer as to avoid suspicion of conflict of interest, claiming Boeing 777 was the safest plane model. That was a great PR campaign engineered by Boeing and Bloomberg. On the contrary, (some) media outlets have started to criticize the Malaysian ministries, airport security authority, and the Airline. Aside from the way the Malaysian ministries and the Airline have been disseminating info, there is nothing more that could be done. Right now, there are more than 8 nations that have sent in ships, aircrafts, and even satellites (as reported) to search for the missing plane for four days. How much more could one ask for? In fact, the media may have itself to blame, such as an incorrect report of debris found near Hong Kong by Bloomberg instead of spotted by a Hong Kong airline pilot, is just creating more confusion and sensation. Malaysia Airlines is by far better than any US or European airlines in terms of safety, service, and on-time records. Anyone who has been stuck at a US airport or ride on a US airliner could tell you that. But then, the Malaysia Airlines and govt are way behind Boeing and the US govt in terms of engineering PR campaigns when facing a crisis.
