The police are attributing their inability to contain some - TopicsExpress

The police are attributing their inability to contain some criminal activities to a shortage of resources within the force. This comes amidst concern of growing cases of mob justice, following dissatisfaction by the public who feel that the police are of late not doing their job appropriately. But speaking to Capital FM, deputy national police spokesperson Kelvin Maigwa says it is unfortunate that people have resorted to taking the law into their own hands, a development he says renders their efforts fruitless. He says it is not easy for the police to deal with each and every situation owing to the lack of resources that has characterised the police force. Maigwa feels the media can play a role by providing civic education to the public on the bad side of mob justice.
