The politics of 20 years ago will not be Turning Texas Blue.org. We need to bring in what President Johnson might have called those with a dog in the race. We need to bring in those who should be highly motivated to vote Democratic and are not doing so because they arent given enough hope and an educational road map to what they can achieve. We can bring in new voters that may tend to vote Democratic but we wont keep them unless they feel empowered in the new Democratic Party of today. We need to communicate concerning real hopes, and the hope and planning that will can make those hopes a reality. This means bringing into the Democratic Party everyone inspired to help make their dreams for a better future for themselves and Texas a reality. It has been said that all politics is local, but it gets closer to home than that: All politics is individual. Stir the fire of hope in the helpless, share real power with them, and the Democratic Party of Texas will have friends for life. David Mitch Sotelo
