The portrayal of Dr. Ewin Cameron as a renowned psychiatrist who conducted cruel and unusual treatments on his uninformed patients due to egotistical naivety who in actuality cared for his patients and was looking for a cure for mental illness is in my opinion fictitious. I am not aware of any professional who accepted funding by the CIA/military to do research who did so to benefit their patients. To the contrary this was Cold War experimentation where the end justified the means no matter what harm was caused.
