The pride of a nation. As a country, we are going through difficult times. Real lives are lost. Real families are in despair. Real fear is in the air. The events are unprecendented. Some tried to compare, and asked what would Tun M have done? How best could it be handled? The fact is, that is not relevant. It isnt Tun Ms show now. We have a PM and he has to do, what he has to do. And if success is measured on outcome, he did it his way, and he got it done. It was different, but the job is done. We have our MH17 blackboxes, and the bodies are being transferred. The government is trying to be as transparent as it can, and it seems to be working. And even the opposition is supporting it, giving credit where credit is due. This non-partisan call to action is healthy. We may differ in our opinion on what is best for the country, but we must agree on what is best for our countrymen. And recent events have shown that we all share this kindred spirit. No one politicized the tragedy. We were all matured and human about it. Humanizing politics is new for us. And as we grow, we will all get better at it. For now, we need to heal. So much have happened, and so much is simply beyond our control. The best we can do, is literally to pick up the pieces, and learn how best to move forward. We have a national carrier that will definitely need a lot of attention. We have questions, that well need to continue to find answers to. And. We have a country to run. We have proven that in crisis we can come together, and forget our colours and religion. Perhaps. Moving forward, we can all grow up, and fight for what is best for all of us, rather then continue to argue what is worst in some of us. We can do more. And if the recent times are of any indication, we will. It is time.
