The purpose of Great Lent: 1. We wash our face 2. We annoint our head 3. We look inward to ourselves 4. We hide our efforts ( fasting, prayer, charity) 5. We change our lives 6. We rejoice with delight in our seeking the Lord In seeking the Lord, let us make 15 minutes every day of Great Lent to read the Life of Christ from beginning to end as it is written in the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. These minutes will bring us closer to Almighty God. He will be speaking to us through His Divine Word. In order to love God we are called to seek Him constantly and make Him a vital part of our personal lives. Will you make the committement?
