The question in this year’s Board of Education race is voters must ask themselves “are the residents of Struthers satisfied with what’s going on in the school district? As a board member the past 8 years I have done everything possible to return the Struthers Schools to financial stability and improved student instruction and achievement. I have worked hard in seeing Struthers remain one of the best school system in the region. Challengers Dennis Johnson and Ron Shives have failed to make a case for replacing me. They say they are committed to serving on our school board but have only attended 3 board meetings between themselves. They need to understand our school system better. Please share with your family and friends. Struthers needs board members whose actions speak louder than large signs around town. I thank you for your support and vote. spisakforschoolboard.org
