The question is not, Can they make the website work? This is a distraction from the real issue. We would hope with over half a billion dollars, three years, and the same resources which are able to craft technology-based solutions to unconstitutionally spy on every Americans emails, cell phone calls and web activity available, they could at least be able to figure out how to get a website to work (well, okay, maybe not). The question is also not, Can they now keep their promises, which were broken? Or, more accurately, Can they finally tell the truth? The question is not, How many lies were told in the selling of this leviathan spawn -- the few confirmed now by the party responsible for the law, itself, or many hundreds more of which we know and dont know, as well? And, no, the issue is not, How ridiculously few have signed up?, clearly demonstrating it to be the abject failure we knew it would be. These are all secondary and much less important than the primary questions at hand, which remain, including, Can and will they get rid of a law that clearly goes against the will of the people and the principles of liberty and freedom codified in our U.S. Constitution? And, Can and will they get out of the way to enable: American employers to grow their businesses based on smart investment vs. mal-investment; Americans to go to work in real, globally competitive jobs; America to restore and sustain its historical exceptionalism? Clearly, due to ideology and policy driving this errant law, its website, and other errant laws like it, they are wholly ineffective in addressing the real issues and focusing on whats most important evidenced by the fact the law is still in place and they are still trying to make it work. Clearly, they are unable to keep their oath to uphold the Constitution. Clearly, they are unable to address the most important questions, as real unemployment still sits in the 23% range and our national deficit is soaring over $17 Trillion dollars. Apparently, only those being employed steadily and prospering are spies, identity thieves, and foreign faux-website design firms. Oh, and lets not forget any number of hundreds and thousands of others waiting to slop from the trough of crony, socialized healthcare. Make no mistake, the real issue, and lets not stop until it is addressed, is: When will we repeal, de-fund, and otherwise kill this leviathan spawn and eject those from office who brought it into existence? Rolling back the clock to 2010 would not be soon enough. DM Chaney Thoughts on Liberty-Killers (Draft)
