The question of many Americans may be answered if they understand what United Sates of America really is. Not many realized that U.S.A. and Britain are two of the other 10 tribes of the ancient Israel scattered abroad after the Babylonian conquest. They inherited the birthright blessings of Joseph which were later divided to his two sons Ephraim and Manasseh. Britain and U.S.A. are the modern day Ephraim and Manasseh, respectively. When God promised to bless Abraham, it was not only for himself and his direct family, but, to all the families of the earth (Gen. 12:2,3). Blessings are not only spiritual but also in terms of materials. At the close of the 19th century, the British Empire was the most dominant and largest empire. And after the WW II, the U.S.A. emerged as the most powerful nation in the world. These two nations never used their dominance to oppress the nations they conquered, but rather, they gave them independence and helped rebuild them (their enemies). Until now, the U.S.A. still trying and struggling to continue her role as a channel of blessings to many nations, but sadly, even American people didnt realize this. God bless America!
