The question remains how to ferret out the members of Hamas firing those missiles (several thousand) from the inhabitants of Gaza, who, as far as Im aware, want nothing to do with it all (1.8 million). Do I agree with what Israel is doing? Not really, but I cant say no wholeheartedly, because I do understand why they have to do *something*. I dont know what the solution would or should be. I guess ideally there should be a popular uprising in Gaza against Hamas, but I dont see that happening either... And yes, I know very well that Im writing this in my very safe English home, making it nearly a theoretical exercise, but I also know people who know people whove lost someone, on both sides, so its not that far removed either...
