The ready, nearly ready and the somewhat delayed. We want to be fully transparent so here are photos of where we are up to with a couple of weeks to go. Early years classrooms are shaping up nicely. Specialist rooms (like this wood working room) are being fitted out and are looking good. The cleaning and snagging teams are hard at work just doing touch up painting and last minute jobs. The auditorium is slightly delayed. The seats and carpets are going in. We do anticipate it being ready for school start in September but there is a possibility it could be one week delayed. The picture shows the seating being installed..and all the other seats in boxes around them. In truth its most likely to be open in time but we want to be as open as possible. We remain in very good shape and will certainly be ready for students on the 2nd of September but there is a lot of final cleaning/snagging/shelving and furniture building to go. Teachers are arriving all the time with flights late night and early morning. This does mean that we might be a bit slower than usual with replies etc. just as we are all so hands on at the moment. We do look forward to seeing everyone though...its been a long time coming!
