The real Santa Claus! I know him! My whole life I have known him! Things we know about Santa .... Kind, Compassionate, Godly, Giving, Strong, Patient, Faithful..... Santa.... or..... My DAD! My dad has spent his whole life giving, he has put roofs over heads, toys under trees, meals in hungry bellies and love where none of these things existed. He has been a father figure to many children, a shining light to lost souls and at this point in his life a broker of Hope. He has given freely of his time and finances (which he mostly does anonymously). He is devoted to his church and to God and holds nothing more important than FAMILY and has taken that responsibility seriously. To those through his life who have turned their back on him, dismissed him and walked away.... he loved them anyway! He is level headed and has the strength and courage that only comes from his deep rooted Faith. He has battled the mighty fight with Cancer and knows that God never left his side. He is a GREAT Dad! I dont say that out of obligation.... I say it because it is TRUE! I know that my life would never be what it is today without the Infinite wisdom of my Lord giving me such wonderful parents. How blessed am I! Today is my Dads birthday.... as we talked this morning he said that he counted it a real blessing to be 71, that there was a time that he didnt know if he would make it to 68 and wasnt sure about 69 but when he made it to 70 and now 71.... well God is Great all the time! Happy Birthday to the first man that I ever loved.... my hero..... my DAD!!!!
